MINISTRY OUTREACH

The headquarters of Good News Today are located on a tranquil 43 acre property known as Belle Terre (Beautiful Land). Our horses have plenty of room to roam, as well as our unique pair of Llamas that call Belle Terre home. Our offices are located here, as well as Providence Home. This is a perfect environment for children who need time and space to heal. There is a wonderful playground and lots of open areas in which to run. We also have two our two ministry cabins, The Margaret Gaines’ Cabin and The Hubert Mendoza Cabin located here as well. Our latest addition is the James Hampton and Lora Mae Silcox Chapel, nestled between the trees, just in front of the cabins. This was designed to be a prayer chapel, where people can come and hear His voice, in the quiet. In addition, this chapel will be available, in the future or small gatherings, training seminars and intimate conferences. We are also putting together plans to offer this as wedding venue. CabinsThe cabins located on Belle Terre in Fayetteville, TN have a dual purpose. While their primary function is for missionaries, they are also available to ministers. Curtis has always had heart for pastors and those serving in active ministry. He remembers the times when he needed to get away and just pray, but was unable to due to lack of finances. That is why he has provided these cabins free of charge, for those who need to just get alone and be with God. There are no TVs and no phones, just a peaceful retreat in which to regroup and remind yourself of the calling of God on your life. These cabins are available on a first come, first serve basis. A referral from a covering ministry is required for use and subject to approval by administration. Contact GNT for scheduling information.

One of the innovative ministries that Curtis has been breaking ground for is called R3. Under the guidance and covering of The Rock FWC in Huntsville, AL and Pastor Rusty Nelson, R3 was birthed in the Spring of 2009. The goal of this ministry is to connect pastors, ministers and missionaries. We are currently working on this regionally and plan to expand nationally in the coming months. The focus is on building relationships, sharing resources, and moving toward a corporate revival. God never intended for us to do this alone. We must join together as the true Body of Christ; learning, growing and moving forward! R3 currently meets bimonthly. Check out the itinerary for meeting details.

Curtis has a unique ministry; one that is focused on introducing people to Christ all over the world through missions. Yet, he realizes that there is a need to reach out to the body of Christ in the United States. There are two purposes in his doing this. One is to share his heart for missions with others, so that others can truly capture that passion for missions as well. He knows that if YOU can just grasp this heart for missions, YOUR life will be forever changed. He also sees the need for leadership training as well as education in church growth. There is a wisdom that he brings that is much needed in our churches in this day and time. He has the ability to lay foundation that your church can truly build on, while inspiring you to personally go to a deeper level with God.
